Meet the Staff

Blake Whitley

Lead Planter

Blake and his wife Brittany have been married for over 13 years and are blessed with three children: Ruby (10), Adaline (3), and Levi (1). Both lifelong Asheboro residents, they came to faith in Christ at an early age. In 2021, they began searching for a healthy church locally but came up short. That journey led them toward the idea of church planting, and they knew the right path forward was to first plant themselves at a healthy church, get assessed, and be properly trained. God providentially led them to Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane, NC, where Blake completed a two-year apprenticeship program in spring 2025. GRBC then officially sent him out to begin core team preparation for Redeemer Baptist Church, planned to be constituted in spring 2026. Blake will serve as Lead Pastor.
