Local Missions

We believe the gospel is not just something we hold onto — it’s something we give away. At Redeemer Baptist Church, local missions is simply about loving our neighbors well, so that through that love, they might see and know Jesus Christ.

Asheboro is our home. These are our neighbors, our coworkers, our kids’ classmates, and the strangers we pass every day. We don’t have to travel far to find a mission field — it’s right outside our doors.

How We Love Our Community

We show up. We serve. We listen. We share. Whether it’s meeting a practical need, building a genuine friendship, or speaking the truth of the gospel plainly, our goal is the same — that the people of Asheboro would encounter the love of Christ through us.

Global Missions

The Great Commission doesn’t stop at the Asheboro city limits. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of all nations, and at Redeemer Baptist Church, we take that seriously. We are a church that is both senders and sent — supporting those who go and staying ready to go ourselves.

A Heart for the Nations

God’s redemptive plan has always been global. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture paints a picture of people from every tribe, tongue, and nation gathered around the throne of Christ. We want to play our part in that story — praying faithfully, giving generously, and sending boldly.

How We Engage Globally

We partner with missionaries and church planting efforts around the world, supporting them with our prayers, our finances, and our encouragement. We believe that the local church is God’s primary vehicle for reaching the nations, and we are committed to doing our part from right here in Asheboro.

How You Can Be Involved

You don’t have to board a plane to be a part of global missions. You can pray, give, and go — even if “go” looks different for everyone. If God is stirring a heart for the nations in you, we would love to walk alongside you in that.
